Uncontested Divorces starting at just $250*

What is an uncontested divorce?

In an uncontested divorce, both parties are willing to sign an Agreement that will dispose of all issues that need an attention in a divorce, including but not limited to: splitting property, disposing of joint debts, jointly titled vehicles, child support, visitation, and tax return filings.

What are the benefits?

The major advantages of an uncontested divorce are (1) time and (2) money.  Generally speaking, an uncontested divorce will be finalized in 1 months time.  A contested divorce requires several court and mediation hearings and can take a year or more to finalize in certain instances.   Because of the extensive time required, a contested divorce will likely cost each party a minimum $2,500 retainer for attorney fees in our area and can often be substantially more than that.

* Cost is for a filing with no children.  Plus applicable filing fees
